Albright Open House - Symphonic Band

Dear Albright Parents & Guardians, 

Your child ‘s band has been selected to perform before Albright’s open house on Thursday, September 10th. Students will be released to join their parents for the open house before the class rotations begin at 6:00pm. Band students will perform before the event starts from 5:00pm - 5:15pm. 

Dress code: Albright Band Shirt with uniform pants  

Albright Homecoming Football Games

*Tuesday Oct 15th*

Dear Parent/Guardian,

                 On Tuesday October 15th the Albright Band will be attending & playing at the Albright Homecoming football games at Crump Stadium. All students will stay after school and ride the bus to and from Crump. If you would like to take your child home directly from Crump you MUST parent square Stephanie Wiens by midnight the night before the event. 

*Students will wear their Albright Band Shirt with jeans or uniform pants* 

Schedule for Homecoming Games

• 4:15pm – Report to band room - Students will eat dinner at school before leaving

• 4:45pm – Depart Albright for Crump Stadium

• 5:30pm – Start of 7th grade football game

• 6:45pm – Start of 8th grade football game

• 8:30pm – Depart Crump Stadium (rough estimate)  

• 8:45pm – Students are picked up by 9pm from ALBRIGHT (rough estimate) 

ALIEF ISD 8TH GRADE NIGHT - Elsik HS Sept 24th

Dear Albright 8th Grade Band Students and Parents/Guardians, 

Alief Independent School District is excited to invite all current 8th grade band students to experience an evening with their future high school at a high school football game! This is a great opportunity for 8th grade band members to experience what high school band will be like by going through what game day at their respective high school is like. The evening will build on the band culture that is already established in Alief and will be an excellent way to show support towards the fine arts programs we have established. Albright 8th grade students will be able to stay with their respective high school through the first half of the game and watch the marching band perform during half time.

All students will stay after school and ride the bus to and from Crump. If you would like to take your child home directly from Crump you MUST parent square Stephanie Wiens by midnight the night before the event.

The itinerary is as follows:

• 1:00pm – Depart from Albright Middle School

• 1:30pm – Arrive at Elsik HS

• 2:15-4:00pm – Rehearse with the HS band

• 4:05pm – Meal with band

• 6:00pm – Arrive at Crump Stadium 

• 7:00pm – Football game starts

• 8:00pm – Halftime Show

• 8:30pm - RETURN TO Albright  (*Students need to be picked up no later than 9pm)

*Times may vary depending on how long the first half goes, but we highly encourage you to attend the game and watch your students perform in the stands! We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you there! 

*Please be aware that your student will be held responsible for any and all behavior choices made throughout the evening. All Directors present will follow district policy.
