Albright May Showcase

On May 18th & 19th the Albright Symphonic Band members will be participating in a public presentation to the community and Board of Alief ISD. All symphonic band members selected are Expected and Required to attend the one rehearsal and showcase. The rehearsal and showcase will be located at Taylor High School. 

Students are required to wear: long black pants, long black socks, black closed toe dress shoes, and an all black button down shirt or a black blouse for females. Females may wear a knee length black (or longer) dress / skirt with black tights or black leggings (required so there’s no issue with visibility on stage of undergarments). Schedule for Monday:

• 8:40 am – Students come to the Band Hall & gather supplies

• 8:45 am – Leave for Taylor HS by bus

• 12:15 pm – Arrive back at Albright MS by bus

Schedule for Tuesday:

• A Lunch – Students come to the Band Hall FIRST

• 12:30pm - Gather supplies & Load buses

• 1:00pm – Leave for Taylor HS on bus

• Pizza dinner provided by Ms. Wyatt - BRING SNACKS & DRINKS

• 6:30 pm – Showcase Starts

• 8:00 pm – Leave for Albright MS on bus

• 8:30 pm – Get picked up from Albright MS - front of the school

Parents/Guardians are invited to attend the showcase. Students will be transported to Taylor on both days and will need to be picked up at Albright MS. Taylor HS Theatre is past the tennis courts right before the athletic building in the back of the school.
